We recently received new issues of 2 of our favorite magazines, Knit.Purl and Pom Pom Quarterly. They only come out a few times a year, and we are always to exited to flip through them when they arrive and pick out our favorite patterns! I want to share a few of those favorites with you today, and I want to hear from you which your favorites are! Let's start with the Fall/Winter 2015 issue of Knit.Purl! 3 of the patterns from this issue are knit with yarns that we carry here at the shop, and they happen to be a few of my favorite patterns from this issue. Crystal Bay Shawl by Rosemary HillThis beautiful lace shawl by Rosemary Hill uses a variety of yarns, you could use lace weight, fingering, or even a worsted weight. One of the recommended yarns is Baah! La Jolla, a wonderful merino fingering weight. Shredded Cowl by Jenny WilliamsI seriously want to make this cowl! It takes 1 skein (that's it!) of Malabrigo Rios, and you could make it with or without the fringe on the edging. I am totally adding this to my queue! Beaded Ski Cardigan by Amanda ScheuzgerThis cute and classic cardigan is knit with an old favorite, Berroco Ultra Alpaca. I love the little touch of beads at the top, but it would be just as cute without the beads! Now let's take a peak at a few patterns from Pom Pom Quarterly's Autumn 2015 issue. There are 3 great hat patterns:
and there are some truly amazing sweaters in this issue:
Be sure to swing by the shop soon to snag your copy of either magazine! Also, I want to hear from you! Which patterns are your favorites? Are there any you are dying to cast on for?
